The team most interested in the Atalanta coach is Rome, who has been planning the next season for several months now. This year has not been easy for the Giallorossi: after starting with The Rossi at the helm, the management has chosen to entrust the keys of the team to Juric, but the Croatian also did not have an easy life, and was sacked after just under two months, before settling in Southampton. Roma, therefore, has chosen to recall Claudio Ranieri until the end of the football season, to then calmly evaluate the profile to call for the next season. Sir Claudio had said that the experience with the Cagliari, in which salvation was achieved, would have been the last of his career, but he did not remain indifferent to the cry for help from his Roma. In any case, he will remain on the Giallorossi bench until the end of the season, which is why the Capitoline management is already sounding out some profiles in view of 2025-26. One of these is Gian Piero Gasperini, who could leave Bergamo at the end of this season. The Atalanta coach was present in the capital to receive the Bearzot Award, and, among the many questions, he was also asked what will happen to his future. When asked about Roma, the coach of the Goddess responded by highlighting how Roma is "like the National team", in that everyone likes it, but on the bench there is already a great coach, namely Claudio Ranieri. In any case, only in the next few months will we know more about his future, but Roma is ready to get serious about hiring him.
