Inter, tests for Dumfries and Lautaro: the Dutchman at risk for the Champions League

Milan, 24 April 2025 – There was expectation this morning at Inter for the outcome of the instrumental examinations to which they were called Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez.

Bad news for the Dutch full-back: the analyses have highlighted a hamstring strain of the right thigh. In terms of timing, this means that the player will certainly miss next Sunday's match against Udinese, but also the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan and the subsequent away match at Parma in the league. The hope, but without certainty, is that he could be there against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
