Inter, it's time to settle the accounts

There are eight stages left to run. One of these in Udine, where Serie A leaders Inter will play tonight in an attempt to get back to +14 on Milan and further reduce the points haul needed to arithmetically secure the scudetto. The main objective is to win it, the secondary objective is to try to do it in the Milan derby on 22 April. But it is more a quirk that is talked about among the fans, rather than a real concern that is spreading in Appiano Gentile, where Inzaghi and his players simply want to make sure they can wear the tricolor triangle next season. After the Rossoneri's success against Lecce it became impossible to win it before the derby and in any case there are two matches against Udinese and Cagliari to be played.

At the Bluenergy Stadium, completely sold out and with a few thousand visiting fans in tow, the Nerazzurri coach will not be able to count on the injured Alessandro Bastoni. He suffered some fatigue, nothing serious but caution will be used. Also because one of the prerogatives of the squad is to be particularly equipped with players capable of performing at their best in multiple positions, see Carlos Augusto, candidate to take the shirt vacated by the blue. With Dumfries on the right instead of Darmian, in the midfielder line, it will be one of the two changes compared to the match won against Empoli, while Marko Arnautovic will be back on the bench after the flexor problem that kept him out from Bologna onwards. On the opposite side the suspended Lucca is not available, in his place Success supported by Thauvin.

In the next few weeks another fundamental match will come to life, the corporate one. Whatever the date of the more than probable championship celebration, the rumors point more towards an absence of Steven Zhang than towards his presence in Italy. To date, Suning's duties prevail over those of the Nerazzurri, given that once in Milan the president will also be awaited by judicial matters with China Construction Bank. These are decisive days because the expiry date of the Oaktree loan is looming (it will arrive on May 20th) and although we have been working on it for some time, there are still no announcements of an agreement reached for a rescheduling. The certainty is that the debt will not be repaid: either another date (and new interest) will be found to repay the sum or the US fund will enforce the pledge, then looking for a buyer on its own terms. Those of Suning, which never went below one billion, were not accepted by any potential buyer and Zhang opposed other situations (Zilliacus rather than Inter Spac) before even getting around the table.
