Juve, there's also Sancho: duel with Napoli. Milan still on Vlahovic

Bologna, 21 June 2025 – These are hot days, in every sense, at home Juventus. Not only for the American summer during the Club World Cup, and the surreal visit to President Donald Trump, but also for the transfer market that is starting to get going. There are many files that the management must take care of or archive. We start with Dusan Vlahovic, at risk of a zero-parameter transfer, we move from Kolo Muani and Conceicao to be confirmed, to conclude with the search for a centre forward (David or Osimhen?) and a winger (Sancho?). Here, in the last few hours the talks have resumed for the Manchester United striker returning from a year on loan at Chelsea.  

Sancho: Napoli-Juve duel

Il Napoli tries to be the queen of the market, but there is competition on a couple of targets. The Neapolitans are looking for Dan ndoye, but Bologna starts with a valuation of 50 million euros and on Monday there could be a decisive meeting between the parties, so Manna he also keeps open other paths that lead to Federico Church and Jadon Sancho. Juventus also returned to this last profile, having already tried to take him a year ago. The player, in the end, went on loan for a season to Chelsea (5 goals and 10 assists in all competitions) and will return to United, who will however sell him. Manna has tested the waters, as has Juve who are trying to reinforce the attack with a link player both on the wing and in the central area. The problem, as always, is represented by the costs. First of all the contract, secondly the salary. Or vice versa. United could ask for around 30 million euros to sell Sancho and in terms of emoluments we are in double figures, more or less at the levels of the last year of the contract Vlahovic (which Juve would like to spread out). With these parameters, obviously, it becomes difficult for both Juve and Napoli, unless the player decides to significantly reduce his salary, and spread it out over two seasons, to land in Italian football. In the meantime, Juve is working on the possible confirmation of Francisco conception, also considering shelling out the famous thirty million euros for the ransom.

Vlahovic: the intrigue. There is Milan, but also the free transfer…

The real thorn in the Juventus market is undoubtedly represented by Dusan Vlahovic. The Juventus centre forward is heading towards the last year of his contract worth 12 million net per season, a figure that Juve would like to spread over two years and renew the contract. For about a year there have been no outlets on this negotiation and the Milan, with Max Allegri on the bench, he made an approach. The problem is the same as Juve's: the salary. At 12 million a year the Rossoneri cannot do the operation and in addition they have to find an agreement with Juve for the player's registration. A delicate situation, because Come on he risks a free transfer in a year and Dusan's permanence would also block room for maneuver on salaries and the arrival of a new centre forward. Vlahovic he doesn't feel like it and doesn't want to go to Arabia, so he's waiting for a convincing offer from the Premier League and Italy and Juve, in order to resolve the issue, could even go down to 25 million euros as the figure for the player's registration. The biggest risk, however, would be his permanence without renewal, weighing down the wage bill with 12 million net and then arriving at a free transfer and a free exit in 2026. Names to replace him

There's a flurry of names and rumors for the potential replacement of Dusan Vlahovic. It won't be Viktor gyokeres, destined for Arsenal, while the Jonathan leads remain open David and Victor osimhen. The Canadian is leaving Lille on a free transfer, but is asking for a significant salary and the commissions are around 12 million euros, in a group of suitors from half of Europe. In the background, there is always Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian has not yet resolved his reservations about the future. Having rejected Arabia, now it is the Premier League that is trying to make the move but the centre forward continues to stall. Juve is keeping the trail alive, even without Joints, but will have to negotiate with Napoli sooner or later since the 75 million clause is only valid for foreign clubs and De Laurentiis could ask for 100 million euros from a rival. The situation is still evolving and needs to be monitored, also because Napoli is busy strengthening the squad on the basis of the promises made to Tale and a significant cash for Osimhen would give even more firepower on the market.
