After the market revolution, the Rossoneri win and convince: some pauses, but changes that change. Roars for the new players, chants and a stop to the protests against Cardinale as in the derby: San Siro enjoys a revised and corrected team

Milan, 5 February 2025 – Three loud and clear shots: Milan has changed and (maybe) he came back the one who San Siro he invoked and waited. The choruses of approval were not lacking: a stop to the protests against Cardinale, roars at the announcements of the new faces, especially Gimenez (which caused shirt sales to skyrocket by 388%, even overshadowing the times of Ibrahimovic's return to the Rossoneri) and Joao felix, Besides Sottil (Bondo still injured: he will be there next week). The line of continuity between old and new was represented by Abraham (for now): a very important brace under the eyes of his former fans (who booed him even though the Englishman didn't celebrate). First goal to defy the law of gravity on a cross from Theo Hernandez. Second as a centre forward, helped by the gap left by the Giallorossi defence, invited again by Theo Hernandez. Ups and downs, for the Frenchman. As usual. But two assists that count. Lion, instead, remained on the bench for almost the entire match: he is not at his best. In his place, a Jimenez in a “peperino” version to say the least. Milan with a lot of possession, to wear out the Roman five-man line. Milan with a few too many pauses, especially on crosses. Pisilli kisses the crossbar, but the warning goes unheard: in the second half on Angelino's shot deflected by Walker Dovbyk believes in it much more than his neighbors. So, the time has come for the new ones: Gimenez and Joao Felix. The Mexican charges straight away with his head down, the Portuguese produces inviting plays. The two are supported by the lungs of Musah and Jimenez on the wings, in the new 4-4-2 branded Conceiçao. The two exchange roles: the former Feyenoord player finishes and passes, the former Chelsea player cuts on the edge of offside and scores with a touch underneath. The match is over, to open a new era. The club hopes so: "We had to change, the expectations are high, in the Cup, in the Champions League. And in the championship we have to get back to the top", the words of Moncada. In the meantime, it will be the semi-final of the Coppa Italia, in April. And, who knows, another derby: the Devil awaits the winner of Inter-Lazio. And, in the meantime, it enjoys an air of overbearing rebirth.
