Ignazio Abate
One coach after another, the next season of the Serie B begins to take shape, with various technicians on the various benches. Not all of them though, because while some vacant seats are filling up, others that seemed safe, suddenly, lose their rightful owner. The last case, quite relevant, is that of the newly promoted Pescara who, yesterday, discovered that Silvio Baldin will no longer be the coach for the 2025-26 season in the second division. The announcement, in his own way, was made by the Tuscan coach himself: "We brought this beautiful place back to where it deserves to be, we brought 20 thousand people back to the stadium and I wore the Pescara tracksuit with pride for a whole year. After the party and the compliments, however, something went out, I no longer feel that magic and that madness to be able to ride my dreams. I looked at my family, I spoke to my wife and my children, we decided that it is better to stop. This is my football, I don't like to do forced things, if I don't feel something special inside I prefer not to coach, because I'm not someone who makes fun of people. So I decided not to continue the adventure with Pescara", the coach announced. The club said it was sorry and will now look for a replacement.
La Juve Stabia, instead, he found the coach: it's the former yellow and blue Ignazio Abate. Now it's official: "Juve Stabia announces that it has entrusted the technical guidance of the first team to Ignazio Abate who has signed a two-year contract that will be valid until June 30, 2027". The Campania club had to say goodbye to Guido Pagliuca, who as is known moved to Empoli, and has decided to replace him with the 38-year-old coach born in Benevento.
