Monza and Fiammamonza join forces to promote women's football, focusing on the growth of young players.

An important turning point that combines tradition and the desire to look to the future. The women's sector of the Monza changes its approach completely in view of the next sports season. The red and white club has in fact signed a collaboration agreement with Fiammamonza, historic company of women's soccer Monza born in 1970 and capable of reaching the top of Italy (in 2006 Nazzarena Grilli's girls scored the Scudetto-Italian Supercup double and participated in the group stage of the UEFA Women's Cup) valorising many footballers.
As can be read in the official press release issued by the club from Brianza, "the collaboration between AC Monza and Fiammamonza has the objective of educating and promoting the growth of young female soccer players through the principles of sport, thus contributing to the education of the women of the future and to the achievement of a new successful sporting chapter". According to this new partnership, Monza will cease the activities of its first team - born only one year and capable of immediately obtaining promotion to Eccellenza - and will focus exclusively on the development of the youth teams.
The Brianza club will also take care of the management costs incurred by Fiammamonza to participate in official tournaments and various youth championships.
