Napoli transfer market, not just Mazzocchi and Samardzic: Dragusin and Luvumbo are liked
De Laurentiis tries to lower the market poker to revive the Azzurri after the torpor of the last few months

Radu Dragusin (Ansa)
Naples, 4 January 2024 - From total summer immobility to the almost frenetic rush of winter: in the space of a few months on the planet Napoli everything has changed both on the pitch, with the performance under everyone's eyes which has in fact already ruined a large part of the seasonal objectives, and off, with the highest levels of the club intent on trying to correct the ugliness of the last few months by giving a great acceleration on the market, with a poker of names in the head Aurelio De Laurentiis to relaunch the prices of his creation.
Mazzocchi one step away
The first on the list, Pasquale Mazzocchi, is in reality already an Italian player in pectore, with only the formalities of the ritual medical visits to be carried out. The process began yesterday and will probably end in the next few hours: then, at the court of Walter Mazzarri, an experienced and flexible right-back will arrive who, if necessary, can also move to the left or increase his range of action in a possible (and increasingly probable) use of the three-man defence. The name of the now former player of Salernitana has jumped into the headlines a few years ago, but the profile in question is certainly not that of a young element. Mazzocchi in fact it travels towards i 29 years, thus standing out as an anomalous blow in the context of management ADL, the enlightened one always dedicated to the hunt for young talents. Times change and, with them, contingencies change. It is no coincidence that, after having been one of the youngest squads in the championship for a long time, the Napoli won the scudetto when the average age increased, suggesting a De Laurentiis how important the presence of several senators on the roster is, not to mention fundamental. Now, however, the music has changed and both the aforementioned senators and the youngest among the blue ranks have suffered a clear general decline. Trite and hackneyed tactical ideas known to all opponents, lacking physical form and motivation reduced to the bone after months and months of celebration and jubilation: to think that the market alone can resolve all these situations is far too optimistic even for De Laurentiis and his impulses. However, the recovery operation must begin somewhere, with area Champions League in the crosshairs to prevent the current apparently transitional season from heavily affecting the next one too, with all the consequences of the case. The first, the most obvious: the lack of the rain of millions that access to the most representative continental competition brings with it, with the consequent impoverishment of summer ambitions on the market. The second, perhaps even more dangerous from a future perspective: the 'stomach aches' that could arise among the big names in the squad, forced to skip a tour of the ultra-luxury showcase of the Champions League. Hence the urgency to attempt the ascent: to do it alone MazzocchiObviously, that's not enough.
Samardzic node and Dragusin and Luvumbo objectives
Not surprisingly, the Napoli is stalking insistently Lazar Samardzik, a long-standing objective that has become concrete again after the well-known summer brawl between Udinese e Inter. Months pass and the Serbian risks returning to the center of another transfer case thanks to the inclusion of Lazio, who in these hours is trying the surprise blitz before the definitive blow of De Laurentiis. But what is missing for black on white? In reality, after the initial optimism, the deal slowed down due to the emergence of economic problems between the parties, with the Napoli who would like to insert technical counterparts (such as Alessio zerbin) to reduce cash expenditure, presumably quantified as 20 million fixed portion e 5 million bonus, but meeting a firm no fromUdinese. Then there would also be problems between the Neapolitan club and himself Samardzic, with his cumbersome family that risks returning to the limelight: the issue, needless to say, is still the usual one in the Campania capital of image rights, in addition to some commissions that revolve around the transfer. At the moment optimism remains predominant but, regardless of feelings, the Napoli try not to get swallowed up by the oasis alone Samardzic, trying to look around for other objectives too. Two above all, one for the immediate future and another for June. The first is called Radu Dragusin, one of the revelation defenders of this first part of the season. Everything seemed to be done between Tottenham and Genoa, no stranger to selling his jewels in the winter session: then something went wrong, thus paving the way for the hypothesis of the Romanian staying in the rossoblù or the blitz of another club, with the Napoli to attempt the coup also to give new life to the backward department after the long stop that occurred in Nathan, itself never really convincing at all. Curiously, in addition to cash (approx 20 million), on the plate there is the tag of Leo Ostigard, a sort of comeback horse that the Genoa would find himself again after having launched into great football: the alternative to the Norwegian, not exactly the most valued player in the blue team even in the face of the Scudetto cure, is Alexander Zanoli, already expected to land under the Lanterna but with the simple formula of a dry loan. From the rossoblù of Genoa to that of the Cagliari, which in its troubled first part of the championship has so far showcased few talents: there is one of them Zito Luvumbo, a short striker capable of creating panic in the opposing defenses and, if necessary, also of finishing the action. The operation seems uncomplicated in view of June but perhaps also for the immediate future, with the Angolan who could replace the departing player Matteo Politano, more and more tempted by the sirens ofAl-Shabab. Here we return to the idea of De Laurentiis to rejuvenate the squad by trying to acquire budding talents but in any case already more or less accustomed to the pitfalls of Serie A. A revolution that many say is late and should have started months ago instead of resting on its laurels title.
