Napoli crisis, now out of the Europe zone: De Laurentiis apologizes to the fans
The Mazzarri cure didn't work, just two victories in six championship races. The president promises interventions on the market

Aurelio de Laurentiis, 74 years old, president of Napoli since 2004
Naples, 30 December – Two wins, one draw and three defeats in the championship. The Champions League pass to the round of 16, of course, but also thereshock elimination in the Italian Cup with Frosinone. The month and a half that has passed since Mazzarri on the bench of the Napoli it has very little that is triumphal, especially when compared to the fireworks of last season, with the historic championship won by Spalletti. The Neapolitans are seventh, outside the Europe area.
Home draw with Monza certified the state of difficulty of the now former blue army. And the nervousness was evident, both during the match, with the coach who got the red card, and afterwards, with the statements made to Dazn's microphones. “It's a constant provocation for both Kvara and Osimhen – said the coach – In a match where there is VAR and many cameras we see these things and this is how points are lost, as well as by making mistakes in scoring”.
There is also the president's mea culpa Aurelio De Laurentiis, the first to recognize that things aren't right. And his tone is very different from that of just a week ago, when he announced the renewal of the star osimhen. “Everything that has happened so far is my responsibility – said ADL –. The blame does not go on the players or the coach – continued the owner, as reported by Sky – I take responsibility for it. I apologize to the Neapolitans if we are where we are in the rankings. I think the championship is long, we will move on the market to make up for lost time."
