Brescia – Brescia is unable to slow down the desire to move up the playoff grid for Parma and returns empty-handed to the defeated Tardini from a brace by Benedyczak around the quarter of an hour of the first half. At this point, with only two days left until the end, the Rondinelle are back in the play out area, in fourth last position, behind Cosenza and three points from the safety zone, where Cittadella has recovered.
Despite the momentum conveyed by the two consecutive victories and the awareness of having to get a result at the home of the Emilians, the good intentions of the team gastaldello they are short-lived. After a free kick from Estevez saved without too many problems by Andrenacci, in fact, in the 11th minute the Ducas took the lead. Adrian Bernabè shoots towards the center of the away area, where Benedyczak frees himself to shoot and pierces the Brescia goalkeeper. The Swallows don't even have time to react in the 17th minute Pecchia's team doubles their lead. At the end of an excellent maneuver by the yellow-blues Man hits the crossbar and on the rebound Benedyczak is quick to score the 2-0.
The Biancazzurri's first reply came in the 23rd minute with one insidious punishment by Ndoj, but Buffon is reactive and takes refuge in the corner. Despite the double advantage and the continuous encouragement of the Brescia fans, the most interesting opportunities still come from Emilia, with Benedyczak even narrowly missing the hat-trick in a couple of circumstances. In the second half the script of the match does not change. Brescia looks for the goal that could reopen the dispute, but the yellow-blues manage the situation with great attention. Jallow and Bisoli call Buffon to intervene, who also shows attention on Adryan, while on the opposite front Vasquez and Camara put the visiting defense in difficulty. The score, however, remained unchanged until the end, giving Parma the victory which earned them a tie with Cagliari, while Brescia, despite a generous final effort, remained empty-handed and slipped back into the play-out zone 180' from the end. .
