1094 days have passed since the last time: they are the ones it took Parma to regain Serie A. Three seasons that found their culmination in the championship that has just 'closed' with the arithmetic promotion of coach Fabio Pecchia's group, season ticket holders for the big leap from B to A, the third in his still young career. The decisive point was achieved with the draw at San Nicola away to Bari, which closed the matter with two games to spare before the end of the season. Pecchia had already achieved the same goal at the helm of Verona in 2017 and Cremonese two seasons ago.

The team of the American owner Krause, who is going to strengthen the group of foreign properties in Serie A (and could increase further if Como and Venezia were to rise) has always led during the season from the tenth matchday onwards. In Parma the party lit up in the rain, in Piazza Garibaldi, with Krause saying: "One word to define the promotion: beautiful".
