Parma-Napoli 0-0, Conte: "We're missing the final step for an extraordinary result"

Winning here is different than doing it in other places where they are more used to winning championships and cups". It is no coincidence that the euphoria in the Campania capital has already existed for several weeks, and coincides a bit with the decline in performance of the Azzurri despite a calendar that on paper is much easier than that of theInter. However, their rivals have also dropped sharply, as emerged this evening, in a round that has perhaps inexorably influenced the fight for the title: Tale however, in addition to reiterating that the famous final step is missing, at home against Cagliari, also recalls the many problems that still plague his team. "The problem is that with us everything takes a back seat, everything seems normal. Today we were missing Lobotka, we are losing all the pieces and despite this we remain there fighting at the top of the table. We didn't have many players on the bench: the credit goes to these guys who put their heart and soul into it. I hope we can celebrate this championship: for this reason too it would be something beautiful". The coach retraces the many difficulties he went through Napoli in the second half of the season. "In the second half of the season we lost players and were forced to change the system and situations. The year off allowed me to try out many new things and also having a full week helped me work better. Despite this, the squad is getting to the bone in this final part. I thank the guys who are always ready, we have the bone in our mouths and we must not give it up". From the bone so dear to Tale to a title that is equally hoped for and, more than ever, just a step away. "Winning would repay me for everything I've put in this year, and I've put everything in. I also know I'm very tired: I'm arriving just at the end of the championship and this is a beautiful place but with very high demands, sometimes much higher than the real possibilities. I feel a huge responsibility and as we've gone forward we've understood that we could stay at the top of the table".
