La Roma passes on the field of Parma. The Giallorossi won 1-0 and achieved their ninth consecutive useful result in the championship (with three consecutive away wins). The turnover of Ranieri; disappoints the Parma di Pecchia, who was reduced to ten men at 31', due to Leoni's expulsion. It's a crisis for the Emilians, who in 2025 have obtained only two points in seven games played. On the field, things quickly get bad for the home team.

At 31' Shomurodov invents a through ball for Soulé, who enters the area and is brought down by Leoni. Referee Chiffi points to the spot and cautions the defender but the VAR corrects the decision: free kick from the edge in favour of Roma and red for the 18 year old Parma. The scenario changes again a minute later, because the free kick from the edge of the area is in fact a penalty for Soulé, who with a soft left footed shot clears the cobwebs from the top corner. The only discordant note of the first half for the Argentine was a yellow card for the celebration deemed provocative by the assistant.

In the interval, in view of the return match against Porto in the Europa League, Ranieri decides to give rest to Mancini and Kone and inserts Nelsson and Pellegrini. Roma comes close to doubling the score several times, but Suzuki saves his goal several times. Pecchia's team waits and looks for a counterattack and in the 62nd minute tries with Cancellieri, but his left-footed shot is out of measure. Roma, however. does not go on the attack for 2-0, but limits himself to managing the pace and possession. The Parma tries to lay siege at the last minute but the Giallorossi defend themselves with order. Roma is approaching the top of the table, while the dukes are increasingly in the red zone.
