In Cittadella they make it a matter of state. Even the mayor charges: "In Pisa? Do well"
The Venetians are bitter about the Desogus case. The Nerazzurri are waiting for the appointment of a "relevant" referee

After the end of the transfer market all attention is focused on the next round of the championship. In the sights of the Pisa There is the Citadel Saturday afternoon (at 15pm) at the Arena, for a difficult match from several points of view. The guests are in fifteenth place, just two points away from the playout zone, followed by Sampdoria, Sud Tirol and Salernitana. In addition to the desire to relaunch themselves, however, the Granata have a grudge against the first leg, which was drawn on the pitch, but resolved by default for the Nerazzurri, due to the well-known case Desogus, the player who came on despite not being present in the match notes. In fact, the match has already been properly loaded from Cittadella. "Pisa will need a battle", declared the player Alessio Vita in the post-match against Spezia.
Even the mayor of Cittadella Luca Pierobon spoke about Saturday's match at an institutional meeting: "Saturday will be a difficult match against a team of a higher category - the mayor declared -, the environment is close to the company and I am convinced that we will do well. The company has always maintained impeccable conduct and makes a correct budget policy a source of pride, which we try to imitate even with poor results". However, the aftermath of the first leg has never been overcome and the echo of the words of the sports director remains Stefano Marchetti: "I don't accept and it hurt me a lot is the unsportsmanlike behaviour of President Corrado - he declared after the last sentence -. He has shown himself to be unsportsmanlike at a level never seen before. It's something that really bothered me".
Pisa, for its part, has never commented on these statements or the sentence. Given the not exactly mild climate in Padua, the club expects maximum attention from the referees and has always remained in contact with the top management of the AIA asking to be protected, sending a referee worthy of the importance of the match. In recent weeks, in fact, the media campaign against Pisa has not been appreciated, which, in some cases, has also led to the unjustified accusation on the regular goal of Moreo against Salernitana.
The player in fact, despite the television footage showing the regularity of the marking, was accused of having scored with his hand. Against Palermo a penalty and a red card were called for the opponents, but no one saw Segre's handball before sending Brunori to the line, but it has never been the club's style to officially comment on refereeing errors, preferring to act in the appropriate places, asking for maximum attention. In the meantime, the coach, Filippo Inzaghi, is continuing the work of psychological training of his players, with the aim of not falling into provocations, as happened against Palermo or again against Salernitana. Even with ten men and despite the fact that in some areas of the games the spirits risked overheating, the coach has always kept the team compact. It will be the same with Cittadella.
