Pisa, February 8, 2025 - The Nerazzurri fall at the Arena. It's a shame because the team started strong, coming close to scoring with Morutan and Canestrelli, but without finding the net. Cittadella defends and breaks up the game. In the second half the Nerazzurri score with piccinini, but the VAR cancels the goal for a foul on the goalkeeper. Morutan wastes a great opportunity, then Pandolfi strikes on the counterattack in the 83rd minute, freezing the Arena. Lind, nervous about the opponent's celebration, gets sent off. Cittadella resists in the final and takes away three precious points.

FIRST HALF – Pisa started off very strong with Mortuary who, after a few seconds, launches Piccinini for the Nerazzurri counterattack, then it is sernicola to get a corner. In the 10th minute, Lind is launched on the counterattack, is brought down on the edge, but the referee whistles a foul by the attacker on Capradossi.

At 22', after a long pressure, Morutan with his right foot forces Maniero to save by diving, who sends it to the corner. At 27' Sernicola finds canestrelli, but his header ends up just wide after a deflection. From the resulting corner Canestrelli, served by Rus, grazes the post to the right of Maniero. The game is played at a very fragmented pace with fairly obvious scenes by the players of the Citadel, intent more on falling to the ground than remaining standing. At 37′ Lind serves the current piccinini, but his left-footed volley ends up out of measure. In the 42nd minute Pandolfi tries from outside, but the attempt is unrealistic and neutralized by Semper without problems. Thus ends the first half.

SECOND HALF – The second half, as usual, begins with a substitution by Inzaghi who replaces the yellow card Rus for Calabresi. At 48′ a goal by Piccinini is disallowed, not for offside, but for a foul on the goalkeeper after a very long check at the VAR. The game starts to fragment again and the match does not offer great ideas until the 60′. At 64′ Masciangelo tries from the edge, but Semper deflects it to a corner. Two minutes later Morutan has the ball to take the lead, but his right-footed shot is high over the crossbar from an excellent position. Inzaghi decides to also insert Meister for Morutan, giving a few more centimetres to the attack.

At 73' Cittadella counterattacks with Palmieri, but his left-footed shot ends up high over the crossbar. At 78' Inzaghi throws Arena in and solbakken for Piccinini and Lind. At 83' Cittadella scores on the counterattack with Pandolfi freezing the Arena. Lind, caught because the player went to celebrate in front of the bench, gets himself sent off. So Vignato comes in for Caracciolo in the final minutes to liven up the match. In the 91st minute Moreo hits the post in a sensational way.
