More unknowns hover behind the starting lineup that Filippo Inzaghi will field against Mantua. First of all: will it be played? At the moment it seems so, even if the red alert raised doubts yesterday. The one who will not take the field as a starter will be Moreo: the number 32, after missing the match with Spezia, returned to training with the group yesterday, and the coach has decided to call him up. It remains to be seen, however, whether he will be granted a portion of the match. The only unavailable player remains Vignato, who has been out for a long time now. Of the three attacking men in the 3-4-2-1, one will have a certain place: Lind in attack. The characteristics of the number 45, namely the great pressing on the ball carrier, are perfectly compatible for Pisa with those of Mantua, who in fact prefer to have possession of the ball. As for the other two roles, it will be a three-way battle between Tramoni, Meister and Morutan. Two from the first minute, the other will enter during the match. The first hypothesis is that of reproducing the trident seen at the "Picco", with Meister and Tramoni behind Lind, while the other, perhaps the one that most excites the fans' palate, with the two attacking midfielders deployed, Morutan alongside the number eleven, to play a match with quality in command.

An event that has not yet happened this season from the first minute. Also up for grabs is the possibility of Tramoni starting on the bench, as he has made several mistakes in front of goal in the last two games. The home field factor will probably also play its part in the choice of players and, considering that the pitch will be heavy for obvious reasons, Inzaghi in the middle of the field could opt to reintroduce Abildgaard from the first minute, one of the most positive players in the last game, alongside Marin, thus focusing more on physique and height, also setting up a game played on high balls. Hojholt and Piccinini remain in the running. The latter was used as a "weapon in progress" in the last home game, against Juve Stabia, later proving to be decisive by creating two goals and earning a penalty. On the wings, after three games the starters, namely Angori and Touré, should return to playing from the first minute at the same time, after Sernicola's double consecutive starter, first in Sassuolo (on the right) then in Spezia (on the left). In defense, the speech has remained unchanged since the beginning of the season: Caracciolo and Canestrelli are present, indisputable and essential. For the third role, it is plausible to see Rus, as often happens at home, in place of Bonfanti (and maybe Calabresi on the field for the end of the game). In goal, few doubts, with Semper protecting the posts.
