Cupramontana and Olimpia Ostra Vetere reach the play-off final. Senigallia Calcio avoids relegation.

The play-offs and play-outs have begun in the Second Category, which on May 10th had seen the regular season end with the promotions of Le Torri Castelplanio to Group C and Loreto to Group D. In the two groups, Borgo Molino had been directly relegated to Group C and Europa Costabianca and Giovane Offagna to Group D. Last Saturday the play-offs and play-outs in Group C. Here, Cupramontana and Olimpia Ostra Vetere reached the final: Cupramontana got through the semi-final by drawing 1-1 at home with Trecastelli after 120 minutes of battle: a mockery for Trecastelli who were winning 1-0 with a goal by Pennacchini but were caught up by Ortolani in the 97th minute. The teams thus went to extra time, where the result was not broken and Cupramontana, by regulation (no penalty kicks are foreseen), reached the final for the best placement in the regular season. The final will be played against Olimpia Ostra Vetere, who won 2-1 at home against Avis Arcevia, in regulation time. Goals by Tronti and Perlini, Disabato's was useless for Arcevia, who were eliminated. Extra time was also needed in the only play-out: Senigallia Calcio won it, thus avoiding the second consecutive relegation, condemning Monte Porzio to Third: at the Bianchelli, Senigallia won 3-2 in extra time thanks to a decisive goal by Giuliani in the 106th minute. But Senigallia Calcio had previously risked a lot, reaching the extension at 2-2 after going down twice. In Group D, however, they only played for the play-offs, whose final will be between Agugliano Polverigi and GLS Dorica. Agugliano Polverigi respects the home field advantage and beats Palombina Vecchia 2-0 at home in regulation time, while GLS Dorica with a goal by Domenichelli in the 87th minute overturns the home field advantage by conquering Ankon Dorica's field 2-1, eliminating them. The platonic title of regional champion was also played for, between teams already promoted: Loreto passed the round and reached the semifinal, winning 3-0 on the field of Le Torri Castelplanio, but in the end it was still a celebration for everyone and it could not have been otherwise after a season that had seen both teams win their group, earning the only direct promotion foreseen. Next weekend they return to the field for the play-off finals while the relegations have now all been defined.
