Reggiana won 2-0 over GS Fraore of Parma. Mister Bazzini's girls thus bring their positive streak of consecutive victories to five and consolidate their lead in the standings championship of Excellence.
After an initial phase of study, the Granata took the lead in the 20th minute with a powerful shot from outside the area by the young Natalia Massa.
The second half starts with Reggiana determined to close the game: they arrive in front of the goalkeeper several times, but Serena Menotti and Camilla Benozzo fail to find the net. Then the Cape Verdean winger takes care of it in the 70th minute Jessica Zisa to seal the doubling: insertion from the back and shot into the top corner.
Reggiana: Ravanetti, Macrì, Benozzo, Cavazza (32'st. Cavandoli), Baccanti, Lenzini (5'st. Zisa), Bazzani (30'st.' Casale), Menotti, Tinelli, Fontanesi (15'st. Parizzi), Massa (25'st.' Malaguti). Subs.: Botti, Cocconi, Como, Mosca. Coach: Bazzini.
Sunday derby with Original Celtic at Cavazzoli at 14.30pm, a remake (bitter for the Granata) of the Cup final ten days ago.
