Sassuolo and Frosinone face each other at the Mapei Stadium: for the Ciociari it is a battle for salvation, for the Neroverdi a match of honor.

SASSUOLOIt was, and should have been, the typical end-of-season match, the one between Sassuolo e Frosinone which closes tomorrow evening at Mapei Stadium, the season. Two 'friendly' clubs, which in the past seasons have exchanged players, an expression of the 'felix' province of a football of the 'big' that snubs the 'small' ones but has to deal with them, several exes between the pitch, benches and desks, who are forced to face unexpected difficulties. Yes: if for the Sassuolo the race is worth little, for the Frosinone everything is worth it, being the Ciociari of the former Paul White in the midst of a battle for salvation, and being the black and greens of the other great ex (Grosso, pictured, brought the Ciociari to Serie A, a couple of seasons ago) satisfied in their own way with the first place and promotion already acquired.

There are a couple of records at stake, for the Sassuolo, there is much more to a Frosinone which, al Mapei Stadium, will give battle. Calling for a 'real match' a Sassuolo who, he demonstrated by hitting Catanzaro with balls, only to find himself defeated, the championship is determined to honor him. Inside a 'dance' of the exes that sees Paul White, coach of the Ciociari and protagonist of 6 seasons – between the pitch and the bench – in black and green, looking for the sharp moment that saves him and Fabio Grosso, that with the Sassuolo of other exes who play today Sassuolo – Boloca, Mazzitelli, Moro, Mulattieri – intersects with a recent past. The link between which is Guido Angelozzi, a leader today at Frosinone but yesterday at Sassuolo, which guaranteed excellent business including, among others, Frattesi and Scamacca. Tomorrow they all crash into each other: a good mystery writer could not have written a more difficult ending to decipher.
