The triangular 7-a-side football tournament organized last Thursday at the Fabbri sports center ended with the victory of Spal employees. A now classic end-of-season event, in which the teams of Ferrara sports journalists and the Biancazzurro technical staff also participated. In the first match the Spallino technical staff beat the journalists 3-2 with Zuculini on top. Among others, the selection set up by sporting director Fusco was also made up of Andreini, coach Di Carlo, Campagnolo and Di Gregorio. The journalists - led on the bench by Mr. Malaguti - paid for an excessively unscrupulous attitude. In the second match, however, it ended goalless among Spal journalists and employees, with scouting manager Conti making the difference between the posts. Inevitably the third match represented a sort of final, with the technical staff having two results out of three available to win the tournament. Instead, the Spal employees came out on top thanks to De Gregorio's own goal. A great satisfaction for the press officer Marchetti and his companions, who took revenge after the burning defeat suffered against journalists in the previous edition of the tournament. Here are the results of the matches: Spal Technical Staff-Sports Journalists 3-2, Spal Employees-Sports Journalists 0-0, Spal Employees-Spal Technical Staff 1-0. Final ranking: Spal employees 4 points, Spal technical staff 3, Journalists 1.
