Spal could be reborn thanks to Porotto's X Martiri

Porotto's X Martiri could save Spal, offering a new opportunity in Eccellenza with the support of Antenucci.
If in 2013 the lifeline of the Spal was launched by Masi San Giacomo, this year it could unexpectedly arrive from Porotto. As part of an operation similar to the one that 12 years ago brought Giacomense to Ferrara, laying the foundations for the ride that we all remember.
It would therefore be the X Martyrs to 'sacrifice' themselves by giving up their registration number to Spal, guaranteeing them the possibility of starting again from theExcellence (through the 100 thousand euro surety) and a good level youth sector. Clearly nothing is certain yet, but the project is serious and concrete, and would even involve a certain Mirco Antenucci.
That's right, the second most important club in the Municipality of Ferrara - the small but thriving X Martiri - would come to the aid of the glorious Spal, fallen into disgrace for reasons we know well. Let's clarify one aspect right away: in Porotto the Promotion championship is played, but there is still the opportunity to play in Eccellenza by presenting adequate guarantees.
And X Martiri is reportedly preparing to make the big leap, of course also on an economic level. As we were saying, the negotiation is in its infancy. Also because it will be up to the municipal administration - specifically Mayor Fabbri assisted by Councilor Carità, through a tender to be shared with the FIGC - to identify the owner to whom to entrust the new Spal after having analyzed the various projects on the field. The one branded X Martiri, however, has all the characteristics to go all the way. In addition to the first team, Porotto's company - which among other things has the same social colors as Spal - has one of the best youth teams in our territory that would allow it to immediately play in the regional youth championships.
Without forgetting a five-a-side football sector that has just been promoted to Serie A5, which would open the doors of this discipline to Spal. X Martiri would have in its vice-president Ennio Bizzarri a professional skilled in weaving this intricate web, considering that in addition to his role in the world of football he is an accountant, as well as a councilor for the Municipality of Vigarano Mainarda and in excellent relations with the Ferrara administration.
In the background, the figure of Antenucci emerges, who would have a leading role within the new reality. As we were saying, however, to transform the project into reality, several pieces are still missing. The first condition - essential - is to have full availability of the Mazza stadium and the Fabbri sports center, two structures without which Spal would not even be a distant relative of the one we know. Of course, there would be no brand, still held by president Tacopina, but there will be time to recover it. In the meantime, it is great news that many are thinking about providing their contribution to the rebirth of Spal.
Among these, the X Martiri project looks very interesting. Spal never loses its charm, not even among amateurs, now all that remains is to understand the timing and feasibility of this operation.
