Spal Rebirth: The Municipal Administration Evaluates Reliable Projects and Properties

The rebirth of the Spal is in the hands of themunicipal administration, who will soon be called upon to choose the project more convincing. But above all the property more serious and reliable to entrust the white and blue club to, which has fallen into the amateur ranks due to reckless management. Many are knocking on the door of Mayor Fabbri and Councilor Carità, especially entrepreneurs coming from other provinces and regions attracted by the chance to get their hands on a glorious company like Spal. Instead, the Ferrarese would be predominantly sponsor behind the X Martyrs, who as is known is very carefully evaluating the possibility of selling his first team member to Spal, laying the foundations for a white and blue restart along the lines of the one that took place 12 years ago thanks to Giacomense.

In this case, Spal would not have the significant advantage of climbing a category as happened in 2013, but there would still be more than one benefit deriving from this operation. First of all, the fact that Porotto's company plays in Promotion would not preclude the opportunity to enroll in Excellence (presenting a 100 thousand euro surety bond). The management's experience in the regional amateur field - which should naturally be adapted to the new context - can represent an added value, as well as the presence of a youth sector of excellent level with about 300 members. With selections that have been participating for years with good results in the regional championships, tournaments in which a brand new Spal could not take part. Another strong point of X Martiri are the structures: the sports Center Porotto is among the best equipped in circulation (four football pitches, two of which are of regulation size), and would become an integral part of the Spal project together with the one in via Copparo and the Mazza Stadium.

By the way, the interested parties reiterate the concept: without the possibility of using the Fabbri sports center and the Corso Piave facility, the operation would not even start. But this probably applies to all the groups or alleged groups that have targeted the white and blue club.

The rumor about X Martiri's strong interest in Spal's rebirth has naturally made a stir. Arousing curiosity, but also perplexity. In Porotto, on the one hand, you can feel the enthusiasm and pride of being able to contribute to the restart of the club that represents the entire city and that has written important pages of Italian football, on the other hand, the disappointment and fear of losing their identity and the fruits of the work done over the years emerge. A bit like what happened a dozen years ago in Masi San Giacomo, where even a small town had managed to put down roots among the professionals. This time they would start from lower down, but X Martiri is convinced that they have what it takes to make it, leveraging clear ideas and a group of entrepreneurs from Ferrara (but not only) who would guarantee the resources necessary to immediately win the Eccellenza championship.

An essential objective for anyone who intends to take the helm of Spal.
