Spal: registration rejected by Covisoc, uncertain future for Tacopina's club

No official announcements have been made, but apparently yesterday the Covisoc rejected the application for registration submitted by the Spal. And it could not be otherwise, considering that the company chaired by Joe Tacopina (photo) sent it without adequate financial guarantees and therefore considered inadmissible. The white and blue club has until June 17 to present the appeal in view of the Federal Council set for June 19 which will decree definitive admissions and rejections. In the meantime, the future of Tacopina's Spal is still a big question mark, whose Board of Directors should meet next Monday to decide which path to take. Whether to hold out, paying debts, salaries and demonstrating that they are in order. Then trying to register for the Eccellenza championship, also leveraging the agreements of the Mazza stadium and the Fabbri sports center. Or move on to the only alternative: the failure of the company, a hypothesis that seems increasingly likely and that would remove many headaches for the Municipality of Ferrara.
