Spal in crisis seeks redemption against Torres: Baldini focuses on 3-5-2
Spal challenges Torres to regain confidence and prepare for the playouts. Baldini deploys 3-5-2 for a positive result.

Four and a half months ago the Spal far exceeded the Torres at the Mazza stadium, scoring their third win in a row. It seemed like they could start a different championship for the white and blues, who then instead went back into a tunnel from which they never came out. In Sassari, the team of Baldini is not looking for salvation points, a goal that is now unattainable without going through the playout, but a success that can give self-esteem and a pinch of enthusiasm to a group in an identity crisis that in the next four games has the duty to recover physical and mental energy in view of the double play-off that is worth a season.
At the Sanna stadium the Spal underdogs against the third in the class, which however is missing three rather important players due to suspension. Mister Baldini so he is counting on being able to play it, taking care first of all not to concede. For this reason, the Massa coach is considering returning to 3-5-2, taking advantage of Arena's return to the center of a defense that should be completed by Fiordaliso and Bruscagin. This time the problems are mainly in midfield, where the injured Paghera and the suspended Radrezza are missing, while El Kaddouri is not yet ready to play from the first minute. The coach is therefore carefully evaluating the possibility of moving Nador forward to the center of the midfield, with Zammarini and D'Orazio as mezz'ali and Calapai and Mignanelli as full-backs. The weight of the attack will instead be on Molina's shoulders, with Parigini supporting the Argentine center forward. The comeback win by Milan Futuro on the Sestri Levante pitch (the goals by Alesi and Ianesi were decisive) adds pressure to Antenucci and his teammates, who are currently third from bottom, 1 point behind Oddo's team, who are also ahead in the head-to-head clashes. It goes without saying how important it would be to finish the regular season ahead of the Rossoneri, but now the Spal must think about the present. And therefore about the Torres, which started out to win the championship and was forced, like last year, to wait for the playoffs to chase the dream of promotion.
Greco's team cannot have the same hunger for points as the white and blues, who last Monday in Chiavari imposed a draw on the league leaders Virtus Entella, sending very clear signals. Therefore, in Sassari, one cannot expect gifts, but the Spal must absolutely return to Ferrara with a positive result so as not to further worsen a situation that is already too bad to be true.
