Spal badly fails in the first leg of the playout, losing narrowly on the pitch of Milan Futuro without even taking a shot towards the opponent's goal. In Solbiate Arno a 'little penalty' converted by Sandri in the first half decides the match, but the success of Oddo's team is deserved and will force the white and blues to win (with any result) next Saturday in Ferrara to avoid a catastrophic relegation to Serie D. Mister Baldini relies on the team announced on the eve: 3-4-3 with Paghera and Nador in the nerve centre of the pitch and a tried and tested trident composed of Spini, Molina and Parigini. Milan Futuro starts better, but the episode that changes the match comes immediately after the half hour: Fiordaliso tackles Traore in the heart of the area with an intervention as venial as it is naive. For referee Mastrodomenico there are grounds to award a penalty, and Sandri does not miss from the spot. In the second half, the Spal coach changes the formation, then revolutionizes the attack.
