Spal, only a draw against Legnago Salus: it ends 1-1

Ferrara, March 30, 2025 – Spal doesn't go beyond a draw against bottom club Legnago Salus and effectively says goodbye to their last chances of saving themselves without going through the playouts. At the Mazza stadium it ends 1-1, with Bagatti's team taking the lead in the 36th minute of the first half with a header from Franzolini, throwing the white and blues into panic.

In the second half Spal reacts and finds the goal with the new entrant Molina who heads the match back into balance. Antenucci and his teammates are expected to push, but nothing happens and Spal has to settle for a point that only serves to keep Legnago Salus at a safe distance, who remain at the bottom of the standings at -4 from the white and blues, currently fourth from last at -4 from Lucchese who overwhelmed Ternana, +2 on Milan Futuro and +3 on Sestri Levante. And with four days to go in the regular season, the only certainty is that there will be suffering.
