While the first team is in full battle to avoid relegation, two selections from the white and blue youth sector lead their respective championships, having secured the pass to the national playoffs of Serie C with two days to spare. These are Emiliano Corsi's Under 17 and Eros Schiavon's Under 16, who are keeping Spal's name high in the category tournaments. Let's start with Spal Under 17, who after 26 championship rounds shares first place in group B with Vicenza. The white and blues have a record of 18 victories, two draws and six defeats, with the best attack with 67 goals scored and the best defense with 25 conceded. On the last day, Corsi's team clearly won on the Arzignano Valchiamo field (0-3 the score) and in the last rounds they will meet Vis Pesaro at home and Trento away. The young Spallini will take to the field for the knockout phase on May 11 and 18, with the goal of continuing their growth path and aiming high. The team that is making the most impression is definitely Mister Schiavon's Spal Under 16, fresh from a resounding 5-0 victory over Lucchese. The numbers of Eros' group speak for themselves: 16 wins, eight draws and not even one defeat in 26 league games. It goes without saying that the white and blues are top of the standings, 9 points ahead of Padova and 10 points ahead of Vicenza. An extraordinary journey, which has given Schiavon's team the certainty of first place and therefore direct access to the quarter-finals of the national playoffs well in advance. Spal Under 16 also have two games left to close out the regular season, before facing the challenges of May 18 and 25.

Next Sunday the white and blues will be busy on the Gubbio field, while on May 4th the Eros boys will end the regular season at the Fabbri sports center against Vis Pesaro. There are five rounds left until the end of the women's Serie C championship, with Accademia Spal returning to the field next Sunday at 15 pm in Riccione. Mister Leo Rossi's girls are fifth at -2 from Trento and +7 on Jesina.
