For the rest, it fails to create any danger near Galeotti, who diligently takes care of the ordinary administration before opposing the insidious free kick from Masala. The last chance to break the balance is for Spal, coincidentally again with Rao, whose curling right-footer is saved by Zaccagno. The match in Sassari ends goalless, a draw that with the game over would be considered positive for Antenucci and his teammates who instead return to Ferrara with many regrets. But also the awareness of having played it on equal terms, indeed of having come very close to the coup on the field of the ambitious Torres. Mister Baldini can start again with a little more confidence from this performance and from Galeotti's clean sheet, with the aim of collecting as many points as possible in the last three days of the championship and obtaining a privileged position in the grid of the inevitable playouts.
