Reggiana falls in Bolzano: 2-0 for Sudtirol

Reggio Emilia, February 2, 2025 – Bolzano unlucky: Reggiana loses 2-0 and does not give continuity to the victory against Palermo. A not brilliant match by the granata, who paid in the offensive phase for the absence of a key element like Vergara (he was suspended).

Altoatesini compact (and to think that they have the worst defense with 39 goals conceded) and cynical: in the 14th minute here comes the advantage with Pyythia (all alone in the area, with his head) and in the second half the doubling of Pietrangeli (50'), once again too alone in the area to head the ball.

Reggiana has a great regret: the goal missed by Sersanti all alone in front of Adamonis at 1-0. It could have been the equaliser, but the number 5 hit the home goalkeeper. In the 91st minute a goal by Girma was disallowed after a VAR review (hand touch by Sersanti in midfield 20 seconds earlier).
