Torino-Milan: Conceiçao trusts Theo. Sanabria is in the Granata attack
Times and where to watch the race

Turin, 22 February 2025 – The disappointment of being eliminated from the Champions League play-offs by Feyenoord was bitter at the home of Milan, who are already aiming for a partial redemption today, will visit Paolo Vanoli's Torino at 18pm, who almost pulled off a coup in the first leg at San Siro, taking a 2-0 lead and being caught by the Rossoneri in full recovery time: “The week went well – explained the Granata coach – net of a few absences such as Sosa, who has a fever and I don't think he'll be able to recover for this match. Adams was also struggling with muscle fatigue but will try to be there. What kind of Milan do I expect? They've had a winter transfer market and will arrive here disappointed and angry about what happened this week. They need to achieve their objective of the Champions League and can count on players capable of making the difference. We, however, will have to think only of ourselves and play a focused and ambitious match. We can't throw away any more points”. Turning the page and trying with all their might to get three points to continue chasing the objective of qualifying for the Champions League, as underlined, is instead the main objective of Conceiçao's Milan: “It will be an important match, against a Torino team that has only lost to Bologna at the start of this new year. Given the precedents, it will be a complicated away game. For us, it will be like a Champions League final and every game will have to be like that from now until the end. How is the team? After a game, you turn the page and immediately think about the next one. I saw that the group was focused, even though obviously going out of the Champions League hurt. We had prepared well for that game but in football there are also incidents. Now we have to continue working and evolving. There is little time. We could have already been in the last 16 but we are not there because of our fault. We have to think about fourth place and the Coppa Italia. Theo Hernandez? I don't like talking about hair color. What matters is being professionals and giving your all. I spoke to him, he is an asset to the club and he knows he has put the team in difficulty, but he will be there against Toro”.
The possible choices of Vanoli and Conceiçao
Vanoli's Torino should take to the field with their usual 4-2-3-1 formation: Walukiewicz, Coco, Maripan, Biraghi will be the four defenders protecting Milinkovic-Savic. The Azzurri Ricci and Casadei will instead form the tandem in midfield, with Lazaro, Vlasic and Elmas in the three-quarter line, supporting the striker Sanabria. The same formation for Conceiçao's Milan, struggling with several absences: in the back line in front of Maignan there will be no Walker, replaced by Jimenez. Alongside the Spaniard will be the central defenders Thiaw and Pavlovic and Theo Hernandez. In midfield there will still be Musah alongside Reijnders, with Fofana still rested at the start of the match. Up front there will still be space for the four tenors: Pulisic, Joao Felix and Leao will operate behind Santi Gimenez. Times and where to see the race: the Torino-Milan match, valid for one of the advance matches of the 26th round of Serie A, will be broadcast today, Saturday 22 February, from 18 pm live on DAZN and DAZN 1 and streaming on the DAZN app and website.
