They continue intensely thanks to theAssociation of Friends of the Gino Bartali Cycling Museum of Ponte a Ema chaired by Maurizio Bresci, who has crossed the finish line of 28 years since his birth, the initiatives to remember the cycling champions of the past. But in addition to this the Museum named after the great Florentine champion, has also been enriched with a splendid Cervelo R5 bicycle with which he competed in the Tour de France, the Danish jonas vingegaard. Thanks to his efforts, President Bresci managed to get the bike which is now on display at the museum on Via Chiantigiana in Ponte a Ema.
In the last few days another special evening for the "Appointments with history at the Museum", dedicated to Learco War, nicknamed when he ran "The human locomotive" an example of strength and determination. Learco Guerra Junior, grandson of the champion who retraced his grandfather's exploits, was present, also present the Florentine champion Roberto Poggiali with Marco Pasquini moderator. At the end of January, the date to be established, there will be an evening dedicated to the memory of the Florentine Enzo Sacchi, a great sprinter, Olympic champion in Helsinki in 1952 and winner of two world titles, while during 2025 other initiatives will be organized by the Association and its very active president Maurizio Bresci.
