I'm very happy with how it went: it would certainly have been nice to win a stage, but I think I can be satisfied with the week overall". The Dutchman's thoughts are already going to Great Boucle, starting on 5th July da Lille. "But things will be different there and the first week will be really chaotic. As a team, we hope to be able to have our say. I no longer have the problem of accumulating race pace, on the contrary. Now I need a few days to recover and then I can start training hard again. I really needed a race like this, where I could push myself to the limit every day: it's something that helps me find the right condition".
