Paul Ourselin (Cofidis), already in the lead yesterday, tries again, taking off on The Iron Cross, a climb not marked as a GPM. The latter is then joined by Victor Guernalec (Arkéa-B&B Hotels), Romain Combaud (Team Picnic PostNL) and Christopher Jul Jensen (Team Jayco AlUla). On the Chateau de Buron Coast (3,3 km with an average slope of 6,9%) they come off Ourselin e Combaud before all the escape is reabsorbed. On the Nonette Coast (1,8 km with an average slope of 5,7%) snaps Romain Bardet (Team Picnic PostNL), on the home roads and at the farewell pace. The romantic epilogue, at least today, is not there: it's a sprint and the win Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), who shows off all the watts possible after the great work of his team.
