One second can make you lose a time trial, one second can give you the pink sweater. See under the entry Primois Roglic, which in the heart of Tirana discover the salty and sweet of Line of Business: he narrowly missed the stage (24 hundredths the official figure), won by the Welsh boy Joshua Tarling, narrowly takes the lead away from Mads pedersen, for whom one of the best performances of his career is not enough to defend it. Two days and there is already the favorite at the top of the rankings: as a start, not bad.

He's in a hurry Roglic, who had dressed in pink two years ago when it counted, that is to say the penultimate day. But from the time trial in Albania the Slovenian comes out with much greater satisfaction: among those aiming for the roll of honor, he was the fastest. Too fast, as the numbers explain: in just under 14 kilometers, the former Olympic champion of the specialty inflicts 16 seconds on Ayuso, 25 a Tiberi and 37 a carapaz, even surprising gaps, given the length of the stage.

"It went really strong primoz, there's no doubt about it. I lost something, but I preferred not to risk it: we're only at the second stage", he justifies himself serenely Tiberi. True, but it's not just any one, Roglic: in addition to knowing how to win a major stage race (he has four Vueltas and a Giro in his trophy cabinet), he has an army alongside him where at least a couple of men could fight for the podium. At 35, he immediately sends a clear message: I'm here to race at my best.
