Pistoia, May 10, 2025 – A team that never misses a beat, full of great talents, led by a true champion. Three gold medals, three silver and two bronze: this is the excellent balance of thePistoia Athletics al Italian Masters Championship of multiple events and relays, held in Brugnera in the province of PordenoneThe three Italian titles were deservedly won by the 4x400 metre relay team M75 formed by the almost 90 year old (he will celebrate them on 30 September) Remus Marchioni, a phenomenon of longevity and class, and by the very good Mauro Giuntini, Marco Feroci ed Edward Scarpetta, from the talented Joy Ferrari e Francesca D'Annibale, respectively in the Heptathlon M50 and Heptathlon M45.

On the second step of the podium, the Swedish relays (100m, 200m, 300m and 400m) M75, composed of Marchioni, Feroci, Daniele D'Annibale and Ennio Del Maestro, and 4x100m M70 (Del Maestro, Antonio Baroncelli, Giuntini and Scarpetta) and Patrizio Di Vita in the M60 Decathlon. Finally, bronze medal for Irene Pregazzi in the Heptathlon M50 and Daniele Burchietti in the Decathlon M55. Numbers and performances of the highest quality, which did not leave indifferent the experts, critics and the public present at the event.

“The team responded in a big way – he cheers with the enthusiasm of a child Remus Marchioni, also president of the Pistoia company –, giving further confirmation of its value to all those who took part in the prestigious competition. Atletica Pistoia has been able to uphold the name of the city of Pistoia and this is another factor of no small importance. We are proud to represent Pistoia as well as ourselves, just as I am proud to have in our ranks athletes admirable for quality, character, commitment and dedication to the cause. To new successes".

He deserves a couple of words once again, Marchioni, who continues to reap laurels (and not only national ones), but has not managed to reach the Quirinale. "I hope to also achieve this goal: to meet, for sporting merits, the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, a figure I respect a lot. Don't worry, I won't give up: I'll make it." We have no doubts about it.
