Athletics, all sprinters in the race did well. Cussina Virginia Pelati third in Modena

Last appointment of indoor athletics this weekend at Modena, with some athletes of the Cus Ferrara who have achieved good performances in the test of 60 meters for all categories. The best result of the Ferrara team was the third place of the Allieva Virginia Peeled, who improved her personal best to 8”59. Also worth mentioning is the Girl Giorgia Zanzi, who came fifth in 8”90. All the athletes improved their personal bests, with the excellent performance in the Cadets by Marco Gaetano Francioso, who got down to 8”11, and the other Cadet Luca Occhiali, in his first race, who obtained a good 8”39.

Among the Cadettes, Viola Baccarini did well, running in 8”88, and Chiara Ferraro, in 9”10, further back was the debutant Anna Evangelisti with 9”39 and Malena Kona in 9”40. The winter season is thus concluded and the outdoor season is being prepared, which will see the Ferrara athletes already protagonists at the beginning of April, when it will open with the Cento meeting.
