Athletics, the 10 km. Falasca Zamponi first in Ancona

The 2025 competitive running season for Atletica Potenza Picena got off to a good start: its standard-bearer, Andrea Falasca Zamponi, won the first round of the Regional Championship for companies, held in Civitanova. The athlete from the Potenza team covered the ten kilometers of the course in a time of 33'02", preceding Fabio Sirocchi (Asa Ascoli Piceno) at the finish line in 33'09" and Leonardo Storani (Atletica Avis Macerata) in 33'18". The winner immediately went on the attack in the company of the two competitors just mentioned, then progressively increased the pace, arriving first at the finish line alone.

"A great performance by Andrea who deservedly won, confirming his talent. Now - says Franco Leandrini, president of Atletica Potenza Picena - we are preparing for the second round of the regional championship, scheduled in Ancona on February 23".
