Great emotion in the world of basketball for the passing of Marco Boscolo (in the photo). The news arrived during the night between Monday and Tuesday and quickly spread among many friends and acquaintances, as well as work colleagues at the Sistema Srl company in Rovigo. Marco Boscolo, 49 years old, originally from Adria, died after fighting a long illness. He leaves behind a partner and many friends, including several playing companions, as he was known for his passion for basketball. A sport that he practiced playing in various clubs also in the Ferrara area, he played in Gallo in 2015 and in the Fenice Codigoro in Serie D about twenty years ago, then in teams in the province of Rovigo and also in Solesino (Pd).

The news of his death was followed by numerous messages from the clubs in which Marco Boscolo played, remembering him for his determination, his team spirit and his values ​​on and off the playing field.

The funeral is scheduled for Friday 29 March at 10.30 at the 'Madonna Pellegrina' church in Rovigo.
