Rain of medals for the Ferrara beach tennis players. Last weekend the regional beach tennis championships under FITP concluded in Forlimpopoli, in the 'central field' facilities. The award-winning school of the Dock Sport Village of Ferrara, led by the maestro Patrizio Pallara, once again achieved surprising results. In total, eight gold medals, thirteen silvers and fourteen bronzes were won, confirming once again the best beach tennis school of the entire competition. The Estense team was able to excel both in the individual competitions and also in the mixed doubles. In detail, in the men's sector, the Ferrara athletes Lorenzo Boldrini, Simone Mazzanti, Nicolò Zamboni, Edoardo Bertoncelli, Samuele Fantinuoli, Alessandro Cestari, Andrea Corli, Luca Casotti, Pietro Moroldo, Jacopo Bigoni and Francesco Marcone stood out. In the women's category, the athletes Beatrice Guerra, Viola Fabbri, Lavinia De Angelis and Carlotta Nota D'Elogio stood out. In the mixed doubles, the athletes from Ferrara Simone Mazzanti, Beatrice Guerra, Nicolo Zamboni, Lavinia De Angelis and Edoardo Bertoncelli stood out. A trip to Romagna, therefore, which ended with a total of thirty-five medals brought home by the athletes from Ferrara. This week the Dock Sport Village school will be busy in Rome for a new event, these are the Italian under FITP beach tennis championships, trying once again to prove themselves up to expectations.
