Bergossi, poker in Comacchio. Bragante first among women

Along the valleys of Comacchio, at the 'Otto Comuni' trophy, Bergossi scores a poker and Bragante scores a winning sprint among the women. On a sunny Sunday, the fourth stage of the historic stage running event, organized by Uisp Ferrara, was held. In the trophy calendar, it was Comacchio's turn. The departure and meeting point of the almost three hundred athletes was in the suggestive naturalistic context of 'Bettolino di foce'. The departure program was differentiated by distance and category. The first to set off were those of the youth sector, respectively first steps-pulcini over the distance of 300 meters, then beginners 600 meters, closing the boys and cadets who ran the 1500 meters. Closing the race program were those of the adult female and male, as well as the students category, all over the distance of 6,20 km. A route that was divided into a single outward lap along the foce road and then the return on the embankment that runs alongside the valleys of Comacchio. The duel in command was between the athlete from Ferrara Mattia Bergossi and Angelo Marchetta, who tried to get the better of the finish line until the last meters. In the end, the decisive sprint by Bergossi, third Federico Zuffoli (Faro Formignana). Among the women, success for the Rovigo athlete Sara Bragante (RunIt Rovigo) 23.53, while second was Rosanna Albertin (Atletica Corriferrara) 24.40, third was Elena Bonafè (Atletica Delta Ferrarese). In the male students category, Francesco Canella (Atletica Bondeno) confirmed his fourth consecutive time in 10.19, followed by Maksyn Tiunov (Atletica Copparo) 11.16 and Francesco Grasso (Atletica Copparo) 16.05. In the women's category, victory for Roberta Laura Fogli (Running club Comacchio) 12.46, then Linda Orsatti (Atletica Copparo) 13.19 and Chiara Forgia (Running club Comacchio) 13.46.
