Bocce. Stellar women at the Metaurense trophy

Great women's bowls competition at the Bocciofila Metaurense chaired by Tonino Tonelli. 62 players divided into the AB and CD categories participated in the Metaurense trophy. The whole thing was directed by Roberto Rotatori. The AB competition was won by Sanela Urbano (Sandro De Sanctis Roma) who in the final prevailed with a score of 10-0 over the home favourite Sofia Minardi (Metaurense), author of a splendid competition in front of her home crowd. Third place for Gilda Franceschini (Città Di Spoleto), beaten in the semi-final 10-4 by Urbano. Fourth place for Chiara Gasperini (Lucrezia), defeated in the semi-final 10-1 by Minardi. The CD competition saw the affirmation of Rita Boinega (Fermignanese) who in the final defeated with a score of 12-10 Monia Bara (Sambucheto). Third place for the young Angelica Castellucci (Fossombrone Oikos), beaten in the semifinal 12-0 by Boinega. Fourth Evelina Pierleoni (Concordia Pesaro), beaten in the semifinal 12-10 by Bara.
