A double defeat that could have been foreseen, the one suffered by Bsc Big Mat Grosseto on the diamond of Parma. The champions of Italy, still undefeated, after having suffered in race one, they melt under the spotlights of the "Notaries" and they clearly impose themselves on the nine of Enrico Vecchi who manages to touch only one valid with Aloma. A colourless test of the Maremma attack also thanks to the performances of Casanova, a pitcher who is repeating last year's successes.

Another show of strength from the pitchers so Parma, this time also accompanied by a box that imposed itself on its opponents, leading to an easy 9-0 victory. Casanova allows only one hit in 6 innings, Kurtis not even one in the remaining 3, with the Emilian team attacking from the beginning, scoring four points in the first attack with four singles and a double Flisi, and the consequent change of pitcher. Rodriguez, in fact, chosen as a surprise by the technical staff, he complained of back pain and had to leave. Prince resists conceding only one point (in the 4th single of Garcia followed by a triple of Connell) until the 6th, but the match was already decided and between the 7th and 8th the reigning Italian champions put their definitive seal on the game by continuing their winning streak.

The Dutchman did a good job anyway Prince and also some reliefs of Isenia e Artitzu who in the end closed the shutters not allowing any more points to the ducal team.

Astorri perfect (2 out of 2 with 2 RBI), but the entire Emilian line up reaches base at least once. Worth noting is the colorless performance of Brandon McIlwain, the former Triple-A Mets outfielder who in recent weeks seems to be suffering from the change of pace of the Italian tournament.

Now the Bsc Big Mat Grosseto is expected for the double away match at home to Nettuno. Two definitely more affordable games.
