Caminada par San Zorz: 50 years of running history in Ferrara

The 'Walk through San Zorz' celebrates half a century of history. These are the most historic running initiatives of the territory, the first edition dates back to 1974, always organized by the Ferraiola Sports Centre.

The event is back again this year, starting this morning at 9.30 in the square of St. GeorgeThe event was created in collaboration with the Contrada San Giorgio and is sponsored by the Municipality of Ferrara, of the provincial and municipal Avis and Uisp. The details were presented in recent days in the presence of Francesco Carità, councilor for sports of the Municipality, Giovanni Bosi, president of the Polisportiva Ferrariola, Luca Sivieri, president of the Contrada Borgo San Giorgio, Eleonora Banzi, president of the provincial Uisp and Alessandro Cattabriga, president of the municipal Avis, together with Francesco Rendine, organizational collaborator of the event organized by the Polisportiva Ferrariola.

Departure at 9.30 and arrival in Piazza San Giorgio. The route will continue in the sottomura for 6,5 km.
