A golden quartet that of thePoliciano Sports Union al Italian Relay Championship a Cassino: the team composed of Valentina Mattesini, Veronica Gori, Virginia Leonardi e Veronica Nocentini won the tricolor title with a race conducted in a balanced and careful way, but above all thanks to a well-studied management of forces that allowed the Arezzo team to prevail over their opponents, who came from all over the country.

The other female team, composed of Lucia Checcaglini, Valentina Rossi, Annalisa Curti and Francesca Lentini, placed 5th, even getting a taste of the podium after the 2nd fraction.

But what shines is the overall result of the Policiano Sports Centre a Cassino, also considering the excellent placings in the men's field: here the two seventh places stand out for the M/40 relay composed of Emanuele Graziani, Mariano Lucero, Andrea Serluca, Fabrizio Sisi and the M/45 relay composed of Leonardo Fatichenti, Giuseppe Cardelli, Stefano Bettarelli and Francesco Vannuccini.

In Italian Cross Championship, over a distance of 10 km the member Policianus, fresh from his success at Strasimeno, Simon Loitanyang, finished in 25th place overall, while teammates Michele Pastorini and Gianluca Notturno contributed to the Arezzo club's placing among the top 32 clubs in Italy out of 87 participants.

The next appointment with the races of the Sports club is scheduled for Sunday 23 March, in Ponte a Chiani, where the third edition of the Water Race, event organized by Nuove Acque in collaboration with the UP Policianus, under the patronage of the Tuscany Region and the Municipality of Arezzo.
