What a year for Marco Nacci. Italian and world titles

Another double to always be the best. Marco Nacci from Lugo, after the encore in 2024, repeats himself in 2025 and wins in quick succession the Italian Men Physique +10 championship, one of the categories of the Wabba, the World Amateur BodyBuilding Association. First the national title in Perugia, then the world title, in the event held exceptionally in Rimini, during Rimini Wellness, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the same Wabba. Marco Nacci was born in Lugo in 1988, but for a year he has been living in Bagnacavallo to be closer to the gym of which he is a member, the Golden Gym in Bagnacavallo. "A great way to combine passion and work - says Nacci himself - after the excellent results of 2023, despite the post-flood and training in the mud, in 2024 I won the Italian and world championships again, as I did this year. And it was very nice to win the world title in Romagna: many people came to Rimini. I also want to thank my friend and partner in the gym Gianluca Montevecchi who was very close to me during the preparation for the World Championship and of course also my trainer Antonio Macrillò with whom I have a brotherly friendship. And now in November the goal of a whole career: in Madrid there will be Mister Universo which I have never won and which would be the crowning achievement of a life of work and effort".

A truly enormous effort, to be at your best on the occasions that count: "Mine is an underrated sport – concludes Marco Nacci, nicknamed Iron Bulk, Iron Block – because no one knows the great sacrifices that are made for the 10 minutes on stage, from when you get up to when you go to bed. Every meal must be weighed and calibrated: then the people who applaud you on stage, appreciate you but the preparation is really difficult. Of course, winning the World Championship and the national title for five years is not for everyone, in fact I am the only one in the Wabba".
