Great news from the Pistoia fencing. The Agliana Fencing Club of the masters Agostino Sanacore and Mabel Biagiotti is in good health: in fact, he is happy for the excellent 22nd place achieved by the Italian carabiniere Thomas Martini in the test of Absolute World Cup of foil, held in Lima, Peru. The fencer from Agliana also qualified for the Italian Absolute Championship which will be held in Piacenza at the beginning of June. Good news for the new doctor Alison Staino, who managed to get the pass to Piacenza without going through the Italian Absolute Gold Championships in Riccione, in which she will instead take part Alina Nistri.
Good news also from Salsomaggiore Terme, where the Italian Under 23 Championships. Thanks to a race of considerable authority, the aforementioned Nistri obtained the 12th final place. Staino's performance was subdued on this occasion, stopping in the first round of direct. Jacopo Luchetti and Lamberto Loguercio achieved qualification for the Italian Youth Gold Championship, which will be held in Riccione in mid-May. Thomas Tortora and Linda Tesi, on the other hand, will have to go through the regional qualifications to possibly access the final in Romagna. Finally, in the third Interregional GPG test, in Livorno, the students Gabriele Ghezzi and Andrea Ruben Guidi and Edoardo Righi, male category, did not shine.
