Ferrara returns to success. Hockey, the girls shine

A return to success for the Tergeste-Warriors girls on Saturday afternoon, winning 3-1 in Torre Pellice. Giulia dalla Ba's girls took the lead thanks to an individual action by Giulia, who took advantage of a corridor left free by the home players. Actions alternated on both sides until the end of the first half which ended 1-0. The second half began in the same way as the first, with a slight advantage by Tergeste/Warriors, until the home team found the equalizer on the counterattack. From that moment on, the Estense players reacted and from a long throw by Ester Vendrame who set up Lea Roger, a winning assist for Chiara Faccini who scored the 2-1 goal. The Tergeste Warriors girls continued to attack despite the lead and also found the three to one again with Giulia Dalla Ba' on an assist by Francesca De Feudis. A fundamental victory for the ranking that now sees the Ferrara team overtake Milan and move into third place. On Sunday afternoon, moreover, the men's team of series C also took to the track at the 'Giorgio Burani' skating rink. The Ferrara Warriors lost 3-5 against the Modena team of Bomporto, at the end of a dramatic match.
