The results. Azzurra, the last races. Rain of medals

The season of ARTISTICand water polo and synchro is continuing at full speed. And for the Azzurra, positive feedback is arriving from all three sectors. Starting for example from the swimmers, both male and female, returning from the regional championships winter swimming championships held a few days ago in Livorno.

We start with Ludovico Alba, who won a slew of medals: he climbed to the top step of the podium in both the 800 and 1500 freestyle, then managed to grab bronze in both the 50 and 200. Ruggero Cangioli also performed well, winning a hat trick: gold in the 100 backstroke, silver in the 50 and bronze in the 200. Fourth place went to Edoardo Castellani in the 200 butterfly, Matteo Vallini in the 100 butterfly and Alessandro Santini in the 50 freestyle.

Also taking part in the Livorno trip were Milo Bartolozzi, Leonardo Cecconi, Pietro Bottazzi, Samuele Presi, Francesco Iura, Daniele Di Benedetto, Lapo Bettazzi, Filippo D'Attilio, Andrea Martinelli, Gabriele Gattai, Francesco Lombardi, Francesco Marchettoni, Leonardo Bartolini, Michelangelo Meoni, Francesco Del Gallo and Leonardo Monzali, with positive performances.

More or less at the same time, good news also arrived from synchro: at the regional "beginners" championships, Gaia Nistri won a silver and a bronze, followed by her teammate Caterina Innocenti.

Finally, thumbs up also for the water polo: after the 10-1 defeat of Livorno Acquatics at Colzi – Martini, the U16s coached by Antonio Rugi also won against Polisportiva CSI Pisa, beating their rivals with a clear 15-9. And the first team directed by Daniele Santini also showed itself to be in good shape, beating Mugello Pallanuoto 14-5 in the match valid for the Serie C championship.

With these numbers, there are all the conditions to continue dreaming.
