Spectacular day of trotting at the Visarno 'Cesare Meli' racecourse in Florence. Seven high-level races were held, centered on the historic Gran Premio Duomo, combined with the Trofeo Aci 125 anni. Nine of the best natives of the sector competed on the short distance of 1600 meters of the Gp Duomo. The undisputed protagonist and winner was Dany Capar who made himself untouchable in 1.10.6, dominating the race with class and energy. The six-year-old Dany Capar was born to Silvano Caparrini by Exploit Caf and Sueia della Luna, standard-bearer of the Florentine Leonardo Cecchi, trained and driven by Alessandro Gocciadoro, is an exemplary professional of the National Trot.

At the start Dany Capar in 12.9 took the lead ahead of Chance Ek, fending off the French Ideal San Leandro, hot on his heels from Bleff Dipa. After 600 meters in 43.2, the gelding reached the kilometer mark at an excellent pace and continued with a fourth fly in 27.8, which cut the legs of his rivals. Arriving without forcing Dany Capar, with driver Alex Gocciadoro, closed in 14.5, triumphing with a time of 1.10.6. With a remarkable speed Callisto with Amitrano conquered the coveted second place in 1.10.8 prevailing over Chance Ek 1.10.8 with Pietro Gubellini, over the generous transalpine Ideal San Leandro 1.10.9 with Bjorn Goop and finally over Diamond Truppo 1.11 with Speedy Velotti. Event with the patronage of Masaf and Grande Ippica Italiana.

Dany Capar signed the 17th success of his career, gaining access to the Gp Lotteria together with Callisto and Chance Ek. For Alessandro Gocciadoro it is the fifth triumph as a driver after Peace of Mind in 2017, Arazi Boko in 2018, Vernissage Grif in 2021, Vivid Wise As in 2024, to which we must add the affirmation as a trainer achieved in 2023 with Vivid Wise As. Many personalities at the award ceremony of a day that had as partners for the collateral events the Automobile Club Firenze for its 125 years and the Scuderia Biondetti with beautiful vintage cars. The winners were awarded by Barbara Catizzone Masaf manager, Massimo Ruffilli president Aci Firenze, Gino Taddei president of the Biondetti stable, together with Carlo and Laura Meli of Sanfelice who manages the excellent Cascine racecourse.
