A route of 320 kilometers for a total of 12.200 meters of altitude difference. It is the route of Appenninica Mtb Stage Race, scheduled for June 23 to 27, which will take participants from Lizzano, in the Bologna area, to Castelnovo ne' Monti, which will host a stage of the Giro d'Italia 2025. Registrations are open, in the 'regular registration' phase until the end of the month, with the fee increasing from April 150. As in recent editions, the organizers have decided to limit the number of participants to XNUMX. A deliberate choice to avoid overcrowding on the trails and to ensure all participants a high standard of quality in the support during the race.

First stage Corno alle Scale, 58 kilometers and 2.300 meters of elevation gain, from Lizzano to Lizzano. Then Monte Pizzo Trails, 49 kilometers and 2.200 meters of elevation gain (always from Lizzano to Lizzano), Emilia-Romagna Peaks, 64 and 2.750 from Lizzano to Riolunato; High Mountain Queen Stage 89 and 3.100 from Riolunato to Castelnovo ne' Monti and La Matildica, 58 and 1.850 from Castelnovo ne' Monti to Castelnovo ne' Monti. The closing is scheduled for Friday, June 27.
